Jennifer Botelho, who owns a chiropractic practice next to Croft House, told the news site that the suspect went into her business shortly before the murder.

"He came in and asked a few questions: 'Are you doing orthopedics here?' What kind of care do we give and then he went, "she said.

Botelho has recently improved security in her practice due to the increase in crime and added a buzz to her door.

"We've had at least four people or so in the last year come into the office - by their actions and words, they were just not right and had no good intentions," she said.
