Follow live as SpaceX aims for 21:02 ET on Tuesday, January 18 for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and a batch of 49 Starlink Internet satellites from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Tonight's launch marks the third of the year for Florida and the third mission with a Southern lane, a historically rare event. The 35th dedicated launch for Starlink will include an instant window, meaning the Falcon 9 will have to fly on time or delay for another day.
The weather for ascent is according to the Space Force almost 100% "go".
Note: Liftoff was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. 19:04 ET, but SpaceX has chosen to fly under another instant window at. 21:02 ET.
