She was not an angel.
Jensen Ackles is out with her "terrible" interactions with Jessica Alba on the set of her 2000s breakout sci-fi series "Dark Angel".
"I was the new kid on the block, and I was taken on the lead role," revealed the "Supernatural" star, 43, in the January 18 episode of Michael Rosenbaum's podcast, "Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum."
He described their struggles as "the worst kind of quarrel a brother and sister could make," adding: "It was not because she did not like me. She just thought, 'Oh, here's the handsome boy the network brought to some more window cleaning because that's what we all need. '
Shocked by Alba's alleged stance, Ackles eventually learned to "fight fire with fire", which led the couple to gain a "mutual respect" for each other.
"But we quarreled. We quarreled as brother and sister," he added, emphasizing how much love he has for the Honest founder today.
"I love Jess, who I know in a way contradicts what I just said," he explained. "She was under tremendous pressure on that show. She was young, she was in a relationship, and it was ... causing some unnecessary stress, I think."
Alba started dating her colleague Michael Weatherly in 2000 when she was only 19 years old - and he was 32. ("Dark Angel" premiered in October 2000.) Their relationship ended in 2003, when Alba years later said: "It I do not know well [why I got engaged]. I was a virgin. He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better. My parents were not happy. "
Ackles also remembers the actress going out of her way to comfort him when he first heard the news of his grandfather's death.
"My grandfather died while I was recording it, and she literally just walked into my trailer and held me for half an hour," the actor said. “So that was the kind of relationship. If she came in, we would all be hugged, but she did not make it easy for me. ”
